យើងទាំងអស់គ្នា សូមថ្លែងអំណរគុណ យ៉ាងជ្រាលជ្រៅ ហើយនឹងចងចាំជានិច្ច នូវព្រឹត្តិការណ៍ប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រសំខាន់ៗ ទាក់ទងនឹងកិច្ចចរចាសន្តិភាពសម្រាប់ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា រួមទាំងកិច្ចប្រជុំទ្វេភាគី រវាងសម្តេចព្រះ នរោត្តម សីហនុ និងនាយករដ្ឋមន្រ្តី សម្តេចអគ្គមហាសេនាបតីតេជោ ហ៊ុន សែន នៅថ្ងៃទី២ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៨៧ នៅប្រទេសបារាំង នៅទីក្រុង Fère-en-Tardenois និងលើកទីពីរ នៅខែមករា ឆ្នាំ១៩៨៨ នៅទីក្រុង Saint-Germain-En-Laye មុនពេលទទួលបានកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងសន្តិភាព ទីក្រុងប៉ារីសជាផ្លូវការ នៅថ្ងៃទី២៣ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ១៩៩១។
កិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងសន្តិភាពនេះ នាំឱ្យមានការបោះឆ្នោតសកលលើកដំបូង នៅកម្ពុជា ក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៩៣ ក្រោមការត្រួតពិនិត្យរបស់អាជ្ញាធរបណ្តោះអាសន្ន របស់អង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិប្រចាំនៅកម្ពុជា(អ៊ុនតាក់)។ កិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងសន្តិភាព ទីក្រុងប៉ារីស បានផ្តល់ដំណោះស្រាយនយោបាយ គ្រប់ជ្រុងជ្រោយនៃជម្លោះកម្ពុជា ដែលចុះហត្ថលេខា ដោយប្រទេសកម្ពុជា និងប្រទេសចំនួន១៨ផ្សេងទៀត ដោយមានវត្តមាន អគ្គលេខាធិការអង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិ។
ឆ្នាំនេះ ដើម្បីប្រារព្ធពិធីរំលឹកខួប៣០ឆ្នាំ នៃសន្ធិសញ្ញាសន្តិភាពទីក្រុងប៉ារីស ធនាគារជាតិនៃកម្ពុជា បានចេញក្រដាសប្រាក់ ៣ម៉ឺនរៀល ដែលជាថ្ងៃចងចាំ ប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រនេះ – ថ្ងៃទី២៣ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ២០២១។
We are deeply grateful and will always remember the key historical events regarding the peace negotiations for Cambodia, including the two meetings between our late King of Cambodia, Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk, Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen on 2 December 1987 in France Fère-en-Tardenois, and a second time in January 1988 in Saint-Germain-En-Laye, prior to the conclusion of the official Paris Peace Agreement on 23 October 1991.
This led to the first general election in Cambodia in 1993 supervised by the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC). The Paris Peace Accords offered a Comprehensive Political Settlement of the Cambodia Conflict signed by Cambodia and 18 other nations in the presence of the United Nations Secretary-General.
This year as we commemorate 30 years of this historic peace treaty, the National Bank of Cambodia have issued a 30,000 riel note marking the historical day – 23 October 2021.
