Phnom Penh: Mr. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, requested the Battambang Provincial Governor and the Municipal / District Governor to cooperate with the Battambang Provincial Department of Tourism to examine the possibility of displaying tourist sites in the province and in other districts.
This proposal was made on the occasion of the Minister presiding over the official declaration of Battambang as a smoke-free tourist city on Monday afternoon, October 28, 2024.
Taking this opportunity to ensure the sustainability of a smoke-free tourism city, the Minister recommended to the Battambang Municipality to continue to implement the principles of a smoke-free environment in tourism to be worthy of the “smoke-free tourism city”.
At the same time, the Minister requested the Battambang Provincial Governor and the Municipal / District Governor to cooperate with the Battambang Provincial Department of Tourism to examine the possibility of displaying tourist resorts in the provinces and districts to provide information and attract tourists. National and international come to visit and please join together with the Ministry of Tourism in the campaign: 1) Each is a Cambodian tourism promoter !, 2) Tourism for all together for tourism!
