Phnom Penh: Early Market Engagement Workshop For Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Package, And Transmission Line And Substation Packages Under the Financial Support From The World Bank For Cambodia Sustainable Energy Transition (CSET) Project.
The Royal Government of Cambodia, through Electricité Du Cambodge (EDC), in collaboration with the World Bank, is pleased to invite you, or your designated representative, to participate in the Early Market Engagement (EME) Workshop for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) package, Transmission Line package, and Substation package, which are being prepared under the Cambodia Sustainable Energy Transition (CSET) Project with financial support from the World Bank.
The Early Market Engagement Workshop aims to:
➤ Present the proposed packages for BESS, Transmission Lines, and Substations, including their objectives, scope, and anticipated implementation schedule
➤ Share the preliminary technical specifications, performance requirements, and procurement strategy for the packages. Obtain feedback from potential contractors, system integrators, equipment manufacturers, consultants, and other interested stakeholders on technical, commercial, contractual, environmental, and implementation aspects of the packages
➤ Identify opportunities to enhance competition, encourage innovation, and adopt international best practices in the project design and procurement process; and encourage constructive dialogue between EDC, the World Bank, and prospective contractors, suppliers, consultants, and investors to support the successful delivery of the project.
