Israeli officials claim IDF troops were provoked by Palestinians throwing rocks at them. The troops opened fire and reportedly killed six in two incidents in the West Bank Tuesday.
The IDF raids reportedly targeted the “Lions Dens” group in the city of Nablus, where five people were killed but only two were identified as members. Another Palestinian was shot in Nabi Saleh near Ramallah.
Palestinian health authorities reported that at least 20 more were wounded in the Nablus clash, including some members of their security forces.
