Phnom Penh: Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will attend the 8th Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Summit on “Towards a Better Community through Innovation-Driven Development” The 10th Ayeyarwaddy-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Summit (ECMECS) under the theme “Towards Smooth Connections for Mekong Subregion Integration” and the 11th Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Vietnam Cooperation Summit (CLMV) under the theme “Friendship and Solidarity for a Resilient and Prosperous Community” Which will take place on November 6-7, 2024 in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Prime Minister was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Sok Chenda Sophea, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Senior Minister Chheang Yanara, Senior Minister of the Royal Government, and leaders from the Chamber of Commerce And the Cambodian Duke Association.
These summits will review achievements and set future directions for expanding cooperation and boosting mutual trust, as well as strengthening partnerships among member countries that contribute to socio-economic development. And promoting the well-being of the people in the region, as well as highlighting the importance of sustainable peace and sustainable development, as well as peaceful coexistence among member countries.
During his stay in Kunming, Samdech Thipdei Hun Manet is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with foreign leaders and businessmen.
