Phnom Penh: The Phnom Penh Capital Administration has announced that the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, in cooperation with the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, the National Paralympic Committee of Cambodia, the National Sports Federation and relevant institutions, will organize the opening ceremony of the 4th National Sports and National Games for the Disabled. Second, at the National Olympic Stadium in Sangkat Veal Vong, Khan 7 Makara, Phnom Penh, which will take place on October 30, 2024 from 15:30 under the high presidency of Samdech Moha Bovathibodi Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Lok Chumteav Dr. Pech Chanmony Hun Manet.
The opening ceremony of the above national sports competition will have a torchlight running ceremony at 14:00, departing from Kandal province, the construction site of Funan Techo canal to National Road No. 1 until the right turn to Nora Island. Koh Pich exits through the Twin Dragon Bridge until the roundabout of Samdech Sangkhareach Chuon Nath to Preah Suramarit Blvd. towards Sihanouk Blvd. Turn right onto Samdech Monireth Blvd. Turn right onto the National Olympic Stadium.
In order to maintain security, safety, order and public order in the fireworks, the authorities will temporarily avoid traffic on the road above.
